Linksys WUSBN worked on WINDOWS XP; no longer with Windows 7. Incompatibility or new drivers?
I removed all vestiges of the old drivers and software and using the Device manager installed the drivers I downloaded from Microsoft and I was able to connect to my Linksyd router. Load the drivers required and see if that doesn’t clear things out. Reboot again, check Device Manager for any remaining items, and uninstall them.

Based on a lot of troubleshooting and trying different things the only solution I found to get my Dell Windows 7 Machine to work with a WUSBn was going to the Microsoft “Windows Update Catalog” and putting in WUSB whereupon it recommended drivers that are older than what comes with new adapters.
